VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We need volunteers to help with Book Fair!
The Scholastic Book Fair will be at our school:
Monday – Friday, November 14-18, 8am to 2pm
Monday, November 21, 8-11am
Family Night - Tuesday, November 15, 5-7pm
All are at the CWE Media Center.
The exciting theme for our 2011 Book Fair is To the Book Fair and Beyond! Reading is Out of This World! The countdown has begun and we need volunteers to help launch our most successful Book Fair ever! We hope you will share your talents and join us as we bring an out-of-this-world reading event to our school.
If you have some time to help us plan our next Book Fair, please join us at a planning meeting on Tuesday, October 18 at 1:00pm at the CWE PTA Office. We will be decorating the Media Center Wednesday – Friday, October 19-21, 8am – 2pm. No creativity required to help decorate! We just need willing hands. During the Book Fair, we need volunteers for two shifts per day (8-11 and 11-2) on November 14-18 plus Family Night on Tuesday, November 15 from 5-7pm. The volunteers will help with the cash registers, bagging the books, helping students or parents find books, and keeping things orderly. Training will be provided. It's a great way to meet other parents, encourage students to enjoy reading, and support our school.
